for everyone
BEWARE OF THIS BOOK!!!

If you have children or grandchildren, work with children at church, or you
have neighborhood children whose parents you know, please take note of the
information below and pass it along to others. Schools are distributing
this book to children through the Scholastic Book Club.

The name of the book is Conversations with God.. James Dobson talked about
this book twice this week. It is devastating. Parents, churches and
Christian schools need to be aware of it. Please pass this information on
to church/e-mail addressees, Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles,
Cousins, friends.

Please pay special attention not only to what your kids watch on TV, in
movie theaters, on the internet, and the music they listen to, but also be
alert regarding the books they read.

Two particular books are, Conversations with God and Conversations with God for Teens,! written by Neale D. Walsch. They sound harmless enough by their titles alone. The books have been on the New York Times best sellers list for a number of weeks, and they make truth of the statement, "Don't judge a book by its cover or title."

The author purports to answer various questions asked by kids using the "
voice of God". However, the "answers" that he gives are not Bible-based and
go against the very infallible word of God. For instance (and I
paraphrase), when a girl asks the question "Why am I a lesbian?" His answer is that she was 'born that way' because of genetics (just as you were born right-handed, with brown eyes, etc.). Then he tells her to go out and "celebrate" her differences.

Another girls poses the question "I am living with my boyfriend. My parents say that I should marry him because I am living in sin. Should I marry him?"

His reply is, "Who are you sinning against? Not me, because you have done nothing wrong."

Another question asks about God's forgiveness of sin. His reply "I do not forgive anyone because there is nothing to forgive. There is no such thing as right or wrong and that is what I have been trying to tell everyone, do not judge people. People have chosen to judge one another and this is wrong, because the rule is "'judge not lest ye be judged."

Not only are these books the false doctrine of the devil, but in some
instances quote (in error) the Word of God.

And the list goes on. These books (and others like it) are being sold to
schoolchildren through (The Scholastic Book Club), and we need to be aware
of what is being fed to our children.

Our children are under attack. So I pray that you be sober and vigilant
about teaching your children the Word of God, and guarding their exposure
to worldly mediums, because our adversary, the Devil, roams about as a
roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We know that lions
usually hunt for the slowest, weakest and YOUNGEST of its prey.

Pass this on to every Believer you know. God bless! And, if you are in
doubt, check out the books yourself.

Music for prayer time

Psalm 91

The LORD Is My Fortress
 1Live under the protection

   of God Most High

   and stay in the shadow

   of God All-Powerful.

2Then you will say to the LORD,

   "You are my fortress,

   my place of safety;

   you are my God,

   and I trust you."

3The Lord will keep you safe

   from secret traps

   and deadly diseases.

    4He will spread his wings

   over you

   and keep you secure.

   His faithfulness is like

   a shield or a city wall. [a] 5You won't need to worry

   about dangers at night

   or arrows during the day.

    6And you won't fear diseases

   that strike in the dark

   or sudden disaster at noon.

    7You will not be harmed,

   though thousands fall

   all around you.

    8And with your own eyes

   you will see

   the punishment

   of the wicked.

    9The LORD Most High

   is your fortress.

   Run to him for safety,

    10and no terrible disasters

   will strike you

   or your home.

    11God will command his angels

   to protect you

   wherever you go.

    12They will carry you

   in their arms,

and you won't hurt your feet

   on the stones.

    13You will overpower

   the strongest lions

   and the most deadly snakes.

    14The Lord says,

   "If you love me

and truly know who I am,

   I will rescue you

   and keep you safe.

    15When you are in trouble,

   call out to me.

I will answer and be there

   to protect and honor you.

16You will live a long life

   and see my saving power."

"BUT THESE THINGS WHICH PROCEED OUT OF THE MOUTH COME FROM THE HEART, AND THEY DEFILE A MAN" MATTHEW 15:18

THE BIBLE STRESSES THAT WHAT YOU SAY IS AN ACCURATE INDICATOR OF WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART.  IF YOUR WORDS BLESS AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS, THEY GIVE EVIDENCE OF A COMPASSIONATE HEART.  IF YOU OFTEN SHARE THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT THE CHRIST, YOU DEMONSTRATE A HEART THAT IS GRATEFUL FOR YOUR OWN SALVATION.  WHEN OTHERS ARE IN A CRISIS, DO THEY KNOW THEY WILL FIND PEACE AND COMFORT IN YOUR WORDS? DO YOU FREQUENTLY AND SPONTANEOUSLY OFFER PRAYERS FOR OTHERS?  DO YOUR WORDS AND THE MANNER IN WHICH YOU SAY THEM REVEAL A PATENT HEART?  ALL OF THESE BEHAVIORS INDICATE A HEART THAT IS LIKE THE HEART OF A FATHER.

OR DO YOU OFTEN REGRET YOUR WORDS?  ARE THERE PEOPLE EVEN NOW WHO ARE HURT OR ANGRY BECAUSE OF SOMETHING YOU HAVE SAID?  DO YOU ENJOY GOSSIP?  DO YOU TEND TO CRITICIZE OTHERS?  DO YOU FEEL THAT YOU ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT COMES OUT OF YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU ARE ANGRY?  DOES YOUR MOUTH SPEW GRUMBLING AND COMPLAINTS?  THESE BEHAVIORS COME FROM A HEART THAT IS UNLIKE GOD'S HEART.

YOU MAY SAY, "OH BUT THAT'S JUST THE WAY I AM! I'M ALWAYS SAYING THE WRONG THING!"  YET SCRIPTURE CLEARLY STATES THAT AN ABUSIVE TONGUE IS NOT UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE SPIRIT.  (JAMES 3:3-10).  A SANCTIFIED MOUTH IS A WONDERFUL INSTRUMENT FOR THE LORD.  A HEART LIKE THE FATHER'S HEART WILL PRODUCE ONLY PURE AND LOVING WORDS.  WITHOUT MAKING ANY EXCUSES FOR YOUR WORDS, ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO FORGIVE YOU FOR ANY WORDS THAT HAVE BROUGHT HARM.  THEN ASK HIM TO DISCIPLINE YOUR MOUTH SO THAT YOUR EVERY WORD YOU SPEAK IS USED BY GOD TO ENCOURAGE AND EDIFY OTHERS.

Blog EntryDID YOU KNOW THE FACTS!Jul 18, '07 9:59 PM
for everyone

DID YOU KNOW THESE FACTS?

 (I SURE DIDNT TILL NOW)

Death is certain but the Bible speaks about  untimely death!

Make a personal reflection about this......

Very interesting, read until the  end.....

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked:

    for whatsoever a man soweth,

         that shall he also reap.

Here are some men and women who mocked God:

 John Lennon  (Singer):

Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine,

he said:

…"Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that.

I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple,

Today we are more famous than Him" (1966).

Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ,

was shot six times.

Tancredo Neves  (President of Brazil):

During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party,

not even God would remove him from Presidency.

Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.

Cazuza  (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):

During A show in Canecio (Rio de Janeiro),

…while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some   smoke into the air and said: "God, that's for you."

He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.

The man who built the Titanic

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked   him how safe the Titanic would be.

…With an ironic tone he said:  "Not even God can sink it"

The  result:   I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.

Marilyn Monroe  (Actress)

She was visited by Billy Graham during a  presentation of a show.

He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her.

After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said:

"I don't need your Jesus".

A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.

Bon Scott  (Singer)

The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:

"Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, down   the highway to hell".

On the 19th of  February 1980, Bon Scott was   found dead, he had been

choked by his own vomit.

Campinas  (IN 2005)

In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk,  went to pick up a friend.....

The mother accompanied her to the car and was  so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her

hand, who was already seated in the car:

"My Daughter, Go With God and  she responded: "Only If He (God)

Travels   In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here.....   It's Already Full"

Hours later, news came by that they had been  involved in a fatal accident,

everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had

been, but surprisingly, the trunk   was intact.

The police said there was no way the trunk could  have remained intact.

To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of  eggs, none were broken.

Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer)

Said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book   ever written.

In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond  recognition in her motor vehicle.

Many more important people have forgotten that  there is no other name that

was given so  much authority as the name of Jesus.

Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose  again, and he is still alive.

"Jesus"

P.S: If it was a joke, you would have sent it to everyone.

So are you going to have courage to send this?.

I have done my part, Jesus said

"If you are embarrassed about me,

I will also be embarrassed about you  before my Father."

Blog Entry5 WAYS GOD USES OUR PROBLEMS Jun 27, '07 6:06 AM
for everyone
The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you - depending on how you respond to them.
Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives.
They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring.
Here are five ways God wants to use the problems in your life:

1. God uses problems to DIRECT you.
Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention?
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

2. God uses problems to INSPECT you.
People are like tea bags... if you want to know what's inside them, just drop them into hot ever water! Has God tested your faith with a problem? What do problems reveal about you?
"When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience." James 1:2-3

3. God uses problems to CORRECT you.
Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something by losing it.
"It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes." Psalm 119:72

4. God uses problems to PROTECT you.
A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem - but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management's actions were eventually discovered.
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good" Genesis 50:20

5. God uses problems to PERFECT you.
Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity.
"We can rejoice when we run into problems... they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady." Romans 5:3-4

God is at work in your life - even when you don't recognize it or understand it. But it's so much easier when you surrender to his plan for your life.

Blog EntryTRUE STRENGTH OF A MAN Jun 17, '07 9:56 PM
for everyone

The strength of a man isn't seen in the width of his shoulders.
It is seen in the width of his arms that encircle you.

The strength of a man isn't in the deep tone of his voice.
It is in the gentle words he whispers.

The strength of a man isn't how many buddies he has.
It is how good a buddy he is with his kids.

The strength of a man isn't in how respected he is at work.
It is in how respected he is at home.

The strength of a man isn't in how hard he hits.
It is in how tender he touches.

The strength of a man isn't in the hair on his chest.
It is in his Heart that lies within his chest.

The strength of a man isn't how many women he's loved.
It is in can he be true to one woman.

The strength of a man isn't in the weight he can lift.
It is in the burdens he can understand and overcome.

Blog EntryI Asked God...........May 24, '07 12:09 PM
for everyone

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said,
No.
It is not for me to take away,
but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said,
No.
His spirit is whole,
his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said,
No.
Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said,
No.
I give you blessings;
Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said,
No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said,
No.
You must grow on your own!
But I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said,
No.

I will give you life,
so that you may enjoy all things.

I ask God to help me love others,
as much as He loves me.
God said,
Ahhh, finally you have the idea.
